Stone Guardian as a general

ive been playing a few weeks and havent summoned many onsters. i usually help ones that are up already. i recently acquired the stone guardian. his ability seems pretty good, but is it really worth me summoning my own monsters to get the siege damage boost?

hmmm ... interesting point. I'm not sure that I would summon a creature "just" to use The Stone Guardian; but if I did summon one, I'd use him if I had him ... does that make any sense?

I agree with Dave O. Having the Stone Guardian shouldn't make you a summoning machine. However, it will make you a valuable asset for summoning organized kills--particularly of these stronger Mega Battles.

unfortunately, im only lvl 124. so some of the bigger monsters are out for now. but im lvlin fairly quick. if you want to organize a battle with me let me know. Stone Guardian is lvl 4 now and his ability adds 10% dmg to siege weapons

I Read Somewhere that as long as you participate in a fight, by helping summon a seige engine while you have the Guardian as your General, the seige damage will receive the bonus from your general. I Will try to find where i read that, and post the link.

hmm ... don't think so. Everything I've ever read (mostly from fb accounts -- but I'm thinking it would be the same on ms) states that ONLY the summoner gains any benefit from equipping the Stone King. Stone King does not have to be equipped when the creature is summoned; however, as each siege weapon is launched, the game checks to see if the summoner has the Stone Guardian equipped and will apply the damage bonus if he is. The summoner does not have to be the one who launches the siege weapon; nor does the summoner have to be logged into the game when it launches -- but the Stone King must be equipped to get the bonus.

-In order for his ability to work, he must be equipped as the summoner's (not anyone else's) active general when the siege weapon is launched. The monster does not need to be summoned with the Stone Guardian as the active general.
