Data Mining

I'm requesting that folks pitch in and give me their results from bosses. What I'm hoping to accomplish is first of all a verification of preexisting drop rates already determined for the facebook version. Second I'd like to build a proper gear/unit/fp farming guide specifically by and for the MySpace version. There are so many variations between the more developed fb version and the ms version, that it just doesn't seem reasonable to say that if it's true in fb then it must be true in ms.

In order to do this I'll need results from the MySpace version of CA. Lots of results in lots of ranges. I need results from taggers to world monster soloers. What I do not need is people only posting when they get great drops, as even a few extras of those can skew the numbers. What am I tracking? Well for now I'm only going to do damage based monsters / bosses. So for now, no dragons or Keira's since I just can't think of any reasonable method to do apples for apples comparisons of stamina to damage based monsters. Raids are also a little problematic in that regard, so no raids for now either. WoRPs and DL's can be converted fairly easily so I'm including those.

I will be tracking Gildamesh, Colossus, Mephistopheles, Lotus, Sylvanas, all the serpents, Skaars, Genesis, Ragnaroks, Bahamuts, Dark Legion's, WoRPs, Azraels, Alpha Bahamut, and Alpha Mephistopheles. Since acquiring sufficient quantities of results to have predictive value will require huge sets of results I'm putting the call out here. Just paste results into a reply on this topic, and I'll come along and transcribe them when I've an occasion. I'll post some preliminary finding when I get toward 100 of each and eventually produce something usable for army building.

What do I want to see? First of all tell me what type of monster it is, the date killed, # of demi slots, # of demi slots converted to fp, total fp, # of commons (I'm not going to track individual commons, just generally), # of props, # of rares, rare types & quantities, # of epics, epic types and quantities, # of legendaries, legendary types and quantities. When a boss lists both attack and defense in the leaderboard, provide those values as well. If you were the summoner on a boss which has a "summoner only" drop I need to know that as well regardless of whether or not you actually received that drop.

It's become apparent that I've not adequately explained some things. I'll try to elaborate as I harvest/manufacture images to support the explanation.

Demi slots are the things that appear at the top of your rewards when you complete a monster. These demi slots may manifest as demi points, energy potions, single favor point drops, or double favor point drops. I'm tracking demi slots and how they convert to favor points. If you receive an energy potion, or demi points just include it as a demi slot. For example in the unlikely event that you got a result like below:



That would be reported as 11 demi slots, 4 of which appeared as fp, for a total of 5 fp.
