They joined for many reasons, to march, to sail, to fly; they went where they were posted but nobody joins to die. Their leaders talk on TV; what else could we have done? But those leaders lost no Daughters and none has lost a Son. So heres to all our Soldiers wherever they may be...and heres to all their families, I raise my glass to thee. Thank you.

Red Skelton knew "under God" would cause future problems. "The Pledge Of Allegiance" has been banned from majority of schools now because of the words "under God". i remember when i was in school that's how we started our day, everyone stood up, faced the flag, and recited "The Pledge Of Allegiance". it's sad we cannot just remove "under God" so that it has nothing to do with religion and everyone can pledge their allegiance. i had to teach my 5 year old son the pledge and will have to teach it to my other son when he's old enough to soak it in.
