MSCA Link Templates

Here's a list of the basic links for MSCA. To use them you will need to know your own or the other player's (monster summoner's) MySpace id number. Insert that number into the link where you see USERIDNUMBER. All links start with

never mind i just learned how to do templates

Still can't get it.

tried the http://www.mrdoe.com/tutorials/find_user_id (Find MySpace User ID) webpage and this is what it said to do (which I did and still no luck)...

1. Go to your main profile page (done)

2. Click the "Profile" link under your main profile picture. (this is where I get stuck because it is not there, no "Profile" link)

3. Look in the address bar. You will see a "friendid=" section at the very end of the URL. The part after "friendid=" is your unique user ID.

***ok this is getting frustrating, every site I checked tells me the same thing as this. Which does not help because there is no profile link under profile picture on my home page. THERE IS ONLY PROFILE VIEWS.

Is there anyone else having this problem? any any any any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

one thing that I forgot to mention is that I have a vanity url which is whitecloud1977

But from everything I have read so far says that YOU DO HAVE A MYSPACE ID NUMBER.[i][u]

I know you can find it almost anywhere like comments, pictures, etc and it will show in the address bar. But mine just shows my vanity url (whitecloud1977) and I need the id # to create links to my monster battles...does it work with the vanity url?. Currently MySpace Call To Arms is not working.

Oh and I seen on Utube one guy's had [show id] in the address bar and was also wondering if my ID IS HIDDEN? hmmm...that is what I am starting to think because I can't figure this out.

Your id number is hidden in a couple places. If you have an old Elite Guard, Market, or your own summons CTA, your number is in there. If you don't have that... it's a lot harder.

It is definitely easier to find someone else's number.

Found it by hovering over my profile tab and it was shown at the bottom of the page (took 2 hours to find it)

But now I have to figure out how to create a link for my Genesis, but now I am stuck because I don't know what I have to substitute in or even what they are and where to find them. Hmmmph, I'll get it...eventually...but my monster will have fled by then.

I'll report back if I figure it out.

well idk if anyone has heard of this but there have been people saying they were givin attack links not cta for monsters on fb... how do u create one?

Attack links cannot be naturally found on the MS platform. And in general, they are frowned upon as links to be passed around because they are often used to trick people into attacking a monster.

Since the Developers have recently asked that direct attack links not be posted, I will not be adding the information here.

now heres a different question... how come the devs of MS-CA havnt shown recent activity on ms or ca and how come there is a new dev w/ tass removed

It seems the elite Guard template doesn't work it stops when it gets to play castle age.

so maybe needs update as this worked on refresh

These things are like 2 piece jigsaw puzzles requiring a msid to complete, When you see %22 in an app generated link it functions as a quotation mark. So for a profile with the msid 387421386 which is what you are trying to build a link for the link should look like:

You just included the 22 from the %22 quotation mark which is not a part of your msid.

Okay, it's official, I need help. I've gotten myself a vanity url and now I can't find my user id number anywhere. I'm not usually that vain or this dim but if anyone can help me I'd be so grateful.

I just spent 2 hours with Iyogi tring to fix what I messed up while searching for mine got my computer strait but still no ID#. can I summon a monster then get it from that? all I get is my stupid old vanity ID. I need help but it has to be like "computers for dummies" .......me dummy

Hey..after making a URL for a Hydra I got an error message page saying that there was an error in /Application Error http 404. I'm trying to make a link for Hydra Gold so time is a problem. My user id is 494040420 and it works for my elite guard so I know that's not the problem! Thanks for any help you can give me!

I know you want to get your golds as soon as possible, but you just (today) finished a gold BotDL. You needed lots of help for that. You should ask around and line up other players who need the medal and give some heavy hitters enough advance notice that they can help you without causing them to over-commit.

Thank you Trinity for the numbers. I found one from page 1 of this thread but it was already done. How do you do it, I have to get the source code and search through it? There doesn't seem to be an easy way.

I have used DoR's post in this thread and some facebook stuff i found to make some pre-made templates. I just copy a player's MSID and post it into my templates. I also did experiments with the templates by adding and subtracting pieces (I add or delete a "join summoner's army" and "construct weapon" part, and sometimes you can see my name written into the link). I do not recommend anyone else altering links unless they understand what each piece of a link does, and they know how to make basic links for all monsters first.

Miscommunication here "I just copy a player's MSID and post it into my templates" it is the MSID I was hoping for an easier way to find. eg http://www.myspace.com/molly2smally molly2smally=311743648 the MSID which I found by a search through the source code of her page.
Is there an easier way to find these numbers than a search through the source code for us who have made a replacement name eg mine is luckofduffy and my MSID is 109497376?
