Let's get to know each other a bit. Include some life highlights and some Castle Age highlights.

My name is Cayla, but I've been using the moniker Death of Rats for the last 8 years online, and even my husband calls me DoR.

I'm a mother of two little girls: Ysabell and Loreley, and inevitably I will subject you to pictures of them at their cutest. I am an Accounting student, and will be graduating in September with a BS degree.

I started playing Castle Age over a year ago on Facebook (since before there were monsters!), and joined the MySpace version on day one. On FB, I am a level 283 Monster Hunter/PvP hybrid, and just a couple thousand BPs from the King rank. On MS, I am a Power Leveler, and have already reached level 290.

I am looking forward to sharing this gaming experience with everyone here.

My name is Daniel. I a am father of 4 kids. I have been playing CA the 1st week it came out on myspace. So there is still stuff I am learning as myspace version brings it out. My character is a PvP/monster killer hybrid as my energy/stam and attack are being brought up equally.

I am Alice. Quite a private one, so if you come to know much at all about my personal life you can count yourself a pretty fucking cool individual. It does take me a while to warm up to you. This is not to say I'm unapproachable, however. If you have a question I will be happy to answer you/help you, or to find the answer if I don't have a clue. Be aware I do not tolerate unwarranted rudeness, so do your best to prevent yourself going apeshit and we are good.

I have been playing Castle Age for quite some time now. Currently I am a level 179 Monster/PvP build. I have horribly neglected questing so I am now focusing on raising energy, as well as defense so I can get better returns on Fortification. My build is constantly in a state of flux. It is whatever I feel like at the moment. I have no reservations about sacrificing stamina for launch assists, so point me in the direction of your monster and I will help you. When I join a monster fight I always make it a point to do at least the minimum damage required for the achievement. I am not a gamble; if you need an attacker I will do my part to take it down.

I have to say though, that way too many people are stingy with their stamina and do not want to help construct siege weapons. If you are one of these people, look at it this way : It costs only 1 point of stamina to help launch a siege weapon, and when all siege weapons are pulled off on Bahamut for example, this adds up to 65,884,500 damage, effectively reducing his life by half. Think of all the stamina you waste trying to match that damage through power attacks. It is much more productive to spend that piddly 1 point of stamina every launch cycle than it is to hoard it. Be a team player. /rant

Don here. Late late at night and starting to wind down so I'll edit this with something actually interesting later. Things like me being a widower, father of (at least) four and things like that. I'm a serious gamer from way back in Atari days, played many a MMO (currently playing Shards of Dalaya and known as Argost there, if anyone checks it out please let the devs know where you heard about it from via the forums). I'm also an avid reader and an unpublished (due to not putting it out there) lyricist. Oh, I am another who is prone to typos....

I'm really enjoying Castle Age. Almost level 150 and my build is whatever I'm working on, that's what I'm doing. Life is a bit , no a whole lot chaotic right now so i miss many CTAs but do click them when I see them before I've burned all my stamina on whatever goal I'm working on currently.

Hey there! My name is Alex. I've been playing Castle Age since Zynga shut down Dragon Wars (how long's it been? 4-5 months?). I play several other apps as well. My apologies if you get any unsolicited invites or messages.
I'm on most days and am glad to help with siege weapons or attacking. I'm happy to help with questions, although I'm still learning too. I'm at lvl 140 and I'm more a quester type now but am slowly building more stamina.
Offline I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy and I've been playing the Final Fantasy franchise since it was on the GameBoy (the oringinal).

Hello everyone, my name is Mike, and I'm a game junkie.

Like a few others here I've been playing games since the Atari days. I didn't stop there though, with each new console I became more and more engrossed in the games they could run. I bought my first pc just so I could play Doom by serial connection with a friend. I had a Mac too, and played Bungie's greatest games before they made the Halo series. Since then I've played almost every major game title and a bunch of the not so major ones as well. I don't miss the "good old days" of gaming much though, I'm hooked on how easy it is to game with others over wireless networks and the internet.

I like all types of games but favor rpg's, strategy, and first person shooters. Some of my favorites: The Elder Scrolls series, Knights of the Old Republic series, Diablo series, Final Fantasy series, Total War series, Warcraft series, Unreal Tournament series, Battlefield: Bad Company series(must have for any fps fan!), NCAA Football, and Tiger Woods golf.

Typically I'm not too chatty while I'm online, but I will answer questions and help with monsters if I can. Need clicks? Just make me aware of it. I guess you could call my CA build a power leveler except I'm doing it backwards focusing on stamina first.

I have been in many facebook gameing worlds and before that MMORPG on lots of games ... I started with the ATARINET in 1984 and wrote one of the first ATARI word based online games (Never Trust a Friend) that same year... I then Joined the Navy Nuclear Power Program and couldn't take my computer on my submarine so fell behind in programing skills now just a spectator/player... although I know some of the Devs out there...

The Gnome was Created over a decade ago as a Christian Ministry to online & Offline gamers... Teaching Conflict Resolution skills and basic problem solving skills to many teens... I no longer head that ministry although I still sell a line of Silly Gnome based Clothing online also... (I will shamesely advertise them later LOL)

MY main Games now are FB CA and MS CA as well as Dawn of the Dragons... (a great alternative to CA) I created Ye Olde Itchy & Scratchy Dragon Hunters Guild(e) TM... On Oct 1st last year making it the SECOND oldest Dragon hunting Guilde on FB... I was playing before the Dragons came ... Just getting ready to enter the Gauntlet but don't let my Level Fool you... I am a member of Legends the WELL known PvP Specialists in FBCA... So far the only people who can beat me on MS CA are 50 to 150 levels above me... If you care to try I have my keep link around here somewhere LOL...

Hey, I'm Nate (you never would have guessed that!)

I haven't been on MS for years, but I wanted to try a power level build and facebook made it a huge pain in the ass to start a new CA profile. I like the gift system on MS about 1,000 times more than fb.

I have a power level build, starting day 4 at level 48. If you are in desperate need of some fortification I can help there, my damage output is low for now, so there are no available miracles in the slaying department.

I am also a senior in a Mechanical Engineering, currently applying to grad school. Why do you care? My play level will take a hit in the Fall and adjust to the school work load as necessary. Last spring I actually had to quit CA for a month and concentrate only on school work.

Game-wise I'm a Prince on FB deciding on whether to race for High King before level 300 in about 25 levels or chill and stay where I am. Decisions, decisions. I'm also at the top tier in War there. Fun stuff.

On MS.. um.. gotta go look *embarassed* Ah! Lt Commander. There we go. Currently Rank 2 in War there. I'll stop at the Captain Tier and head back to my monsters. Some monsters fighters know I give good um.. defense.

So hi there everyone! Good to see those I've met fighting alongside and new ones looking forward to meeting.

OH! And if I've chained you in War, I apologize but Mama needs to get to level 4. As a regular PvP, I don't do much but when I do I only hit a few times unless I see you on my feeds and have no monsters to attack at the moment. Other than that, bring awn the beasties!

I'm kajira. I started playing CA on FB YEARS ago, before they started putting all the fancy stuff in it. As a result of that, I ignored it a LOT, not seeing that it was worth putting in any time. They started putting in the new things in FB CA that I just didn't "get," I spent so little time with the game. The new developments came fast-n-furious, and I didn't keep up. Recently, there came a game on FB called Haven. I started THAT, and quickly understood it, knocking my head against the keyboard about not understanding all the stuff on CA... way too late. I was quite a mullt-gamer on FB, needing something to fill the time whilst my regen was goin' on. Something I did, or something I said -- I dunno which or even if those -- got me banned from FB in JUNE! (I just looked it up. Seems like months ago. Still feels longer ago than that.) So I wandered back to my totally neglected MySpace area to see what was up. Found "apps." Found Castle Age. The rest is written. Obsessive and relentless, I DO NOT LIKE TO LOSE!! lol! So whilst on FB I was a neglectful non-player, on MS I'm an obsessed killer! I like to put time into Quests and Battles, as well. My energy and stamina are pretty equal.

I worked in electronics back when Pong came out -- since we're talking Pong. I had one of the first home video games in history. I have a pic of a BUNCH of people crowded around my little TV in my apartment in the '70s, focused on this dot going BEEP BOOP across the screen. Insane!!

Personally, I'm an ex-extrovert. I'm quite the loner. I was married late -- waited 'til I was 34, and never should have done it then. My philosophy had always been "How can people stand up in front of everyone they know, and GOD, and pledge to be faithful to one another for the rest of their lives, when one never knows who they're going to run into the next time they round a corner?" Which I should have kept to, as he ended up cheating on me. What broke us up was not the cheating -- that I understood. It was the lying. I don't like being betrayed -- I don't think any of us does. I was NICE to him, not wanting a messy divorce. I *SHOULD* have changed the locks and kept the house like every other woman in the country does. I didn't, and ended up being the one screwed out of everything I had. Ho-hum. That happened a long time ago, and like I said -- I'm a loner now.

Aside from age and gender, I guess I'm a typically obsessed gamer. I've never played the popular Multi-Player Internet games. I don't have the $$ for a puter set-up for those. Besides, from what I've seen, they're just shoot-em-ups, and I like strategy. I used to stay up for days (and nights) at a time playing MuDs. LOVED those! My best players were either a mage or a thief. I think my best overall was the thief. Even the devs of that game thought I'd cheated to get the stats I had on that one.

Anyway, I live by myself and like to be left alone. But here, I'm willing to help! I'm an avid helper! I have disabled my IMchat thingie, because I'd be in great concentration on something and up would pop a "will you help me with ....?" I did that a few times, but then just disabled it. If you want my help, pop a message in my inbox, and I'll do what I can. Thanks to Hera, for doing just that and bringing me here.

Right now I'm a bit irked with the link situation and all the changes here. I had a great system going, with the help of Hera and DoR. Then suddenly, Castle Age changes. The links don't work. I don't know what to do now!! LOL! But I'll learn, if I just keep up with what ya'll are posting here.

Hiya my names Mark , I've always loved Rpg's since I played Phantasy Star on the Sega Mega Drive and Final Fantasy VII On Playstation , Castle Age is a game I really enjoy and have been playing since December on facebook .I'm a level 278 monster hunting 4.5 Bsi commander on facebook and have been reading the forums for a few months and saw myspace as a chance to try more of a PvP char and am really enjoying it currently 6.2 Bsi , although the Gnome kicked me butt today , I'll get him back (i did boot him from my army and attack him first lol). I love fantasy fiction, readings my passion Robert Jordon, David Eddings,David Gemmill, Raymond E Fiest, terry Brooks and so many others but Terry Pratchett is my alltime favorite , I have read all his discworld books many times over love em make me laugh out loud. I'm hoping joining VK will be fun , I do think the speed they are releasing stuff on Myspace is a bit overwhelming for the level most players are at , Ive not been in a failed battle on FB for months and wish I could say the same on Myspace . Anyways I'm hoping we can be organised and am more than happy to click VK monsters and help where I can

Dave. I'm retired US Navy, living with my wife and two daughters (17 & 19) in Sri Lanka.

I've participated in several fb games: Combat Strike, War Book, Mafia Wars, and finally Castle Age. Migrated from MW to CA in Nov (MW was in a lull then) and really never went back.

I learned about CA on MySpace after "Hera Fox" lost her Face Book account in April and followed her over here -- a nice opportunity to get in on the ground floor as there were <1500 MSCA users at the time. Had a slow leveling "Wall" build on fb, so wanted something different here -- decided on the "Terminator" build (1000 Energy, 1000 Stamina, ~200 Defense and everything else into Attack); but a month later started reading about "Farming Favor Points" for continuous leveling -- been heading in that direction ever since.

Enjoy the game, enjoy analyzing strategies and sharing experience with others. Cheers.
